    What version of 68 Classifieds are you running?
    V4.2.4

    What template are you using?
    Sigma

    Please describe in detail the issue you are having:

    Hi,

    I've just noticed the SEO plugin for V4.2.4 appears to disable images coming through when sharing an ad, for example on Facebook using the FB Send button...

    The image comes back if you disable the SEO plugin so i'm pretty sure it's this causing it...

    Could anyone with a bit more knowledge about this mod possibly have a look into it?

    Thanks
    Tom

    Not quite sure what you are referring to when you say, "Facebook send" button...
    I don't see any Facebook or other social network buttons on your site at all.

    One suggestion that I would make to you before you post a question in the forums is to search the forums first to see if anyone has already posted the same or similar question. There are several posts regarding posting/sharing with Facebook as well as other social networks.

    One in particular that may be of interest to your question is this thread http://www.68classifieds.com/forums/technical-support/10867-how-add-facebook-open-graph-tag-og-image-head-section.html

    I don't know for sure if this will help your particular issue or not, again because I don't know what you are actually referring to. However, there are several posts regarding the topic of Facebook sharing by doing a search for the topic.

    Hi,

    At the top of each Ad I have the FB social buttons:

    JSpecs.co.uk | Japanese Car Import Classifieds for Sale UK Toyota Supra RZ 6SP Manual TT

    (click Send and you will only get the Ad text, no thumb)

    The Open Graph stuff is fine, that was only visible on the homepage anyway... but still, I just tried what was suggested in that thread you provided - I get the same issue with the thumb...

    As mentioned, when I disable the SEO Mod I get the thumbs again.

    Can you link the thread you are talking about? Facebook like/send will allow you to choose the url you want, haven't seen any documentation on it letting you choose a thumbnail though. I don't use facebook so its hard to test

    ...and what is described there is how you set an image to be used.

    understood... but the image isn't being generated... on inspection of the code, the image reference does seem to be there, just no image.

    I don't know honestly what to make of your code. I just went to a listing on your site and first off, I don't see the code that we referred to in the source of the page anywhere.

    Second you have a ton of stuff in the <body> element of the page that should be in the <head> element instead of the <body> much of which actually conflicts with items in the <head> element.

    I only have the OG in the homepage, as I need to specifically tell it what I want it to show (which is a custom image away from this site) - if you type www.jspecs.co.uk into Facebook you will see what I mean.

    I did take of the home conditional and test it on the Ad page too, but I still don't get the image.

    The Ad pages should generate their own info - as they do with the SEO mod turned off.

    The only additional parts I have added to the body would be the two adsense sections... just to be sure, I'm referring to this type of page:

    http://www.jspecs.co.uk/listing/21/toyota_supra_rz_6sp_manual_tt.html

    If anyone else is running V4.2.4 and the SEO mod, I'd appreicate it if you could use the following code to generate a simple FB share button - and to see if you get the thumbnail.

    <a name="fb_share"></a>
    <script src="http://static.ak.fbcdn.net/connect.php/js/FB.Share"
    type="text/javascript">
    </script>

    Thanks

    OK a bit more info, just noticed the /listing/21/listing/21 in the address... any idea what could be causing this?
