I have my system set up to delete ads as soon as they expire (0 days). I also have it setup to send out a renewal notice 7 days before it expires. However, if the person attempts to do the renewal after the ad expires (and is deleted), it will still accept their payment. Obviously, the ad is not renewed after they make that payment and I have to refund them after they complain. Why is it allowing users to renew when the ad has already been deleted?

You failed to mention that this is in reference to version 4.1.8 which was last released in 2009. I would recommend you upgrade as this will likely solve the problem. It's not required, you don't have to upgrade. However, creating new releases, fixing problems, adding features is the reason new versions are released. Thanks-
