Renew Ad email not sending

    What version of 68 Classifieds are you running?

    V4.2.3

    What template are you using?

    Default


    Please describe in detail the issue you are having:

    I have noticed that the renew ad email has stopped sending. I have tried numerous times to get it to send by adjusting the ad expiration. I have also checked my junk folder. I have it set at 7 days in the admin panel.

    (All other emails are sending normally)

    What could cause this?

    This is controlled by the cron.php file (includes/cron.php). Check it for corruption? Are your expired listings being deleted after the number of days set in the admin? That is also controlled by the cron script.

    Thanks Mike,

    I have now uploaded a new cron.php file.

    Is there any way to force the listing to send an email reminder...or does it just check once a day?

    I will also check if the expired listings are being deleted.

    No, that has nothing to do with the actual sending of emails... Just whether it shows the renewal/upgrade links in the account page.

    Thanks...

    Is there any way to force the listing to send an email reminder for testing purposes...or does it just check once a day?

    Oddly enough...I set the renew email to no and then back to yes in the admin and things are working again...strange, but good
