Template Codes Sigma Please describe in detail the issue you are having: Im sure this is something easy I am forgetting. Im still in the process of setting up my site. The private message feature seems to be disabled for everyone except the admin. But if I recall it was working yesterday. Ive already checked the user groups permissions and the private message settings and both are on. What else am I forgetting?
Ok, I just noticed that the Private Message feature doesn't show up in Firefox. But it does show in Google Chrome. Don't know about IE yet.
Could you be more specific about the issue? When you say, "The private message feature seems to be disabled for everyone except the admin.", what exactly do you mean by "feature"? Do you mean the link in the viewlisting doesn't show? Do you mean the link does show, but when you click on it nothing happens? Please provide details of exactly what is or is not actually working including what page/url that you are in. Perhaps even a screen shot may be helpful. Also, does it work when using the default template?
Well it appears private messaging works fine in both Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. But it doesn't work at all in Mozilla Firefox and by not working I mean it doesn't exist, its not even an option. I switched to the default template and it was the same thing. Looks like I just had an older version of Firefox than I thought. I didn't think it had been that long since I upgraded. Interesting though how everything appeared to work fine except for private messages.
