Hey guys. I did a complete reinstall of my script as I was having some issues with cookies (maybe because of some changes I had done).

    1. I backed-up the database and backed-up all my site files.

    2. I then created a new database. One that I could log into remotely (through Navicatfor example).

    3. I cleaned up all my files in the original install directory.

    4. re-installed the new updated version 4.1.8.

    5. ran the install.

Everything seemed to be working correctly EXCEPT! that the ad images wont show.

Yes, i did copy the photos directory back into my new install.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

A link to your site would help.

You did the install or the upgrade?

So what did you do with all the images in the /thumbs and photos folders?

I found your site in our support system. Can you see references to those missing images in your database and confirm they are actually in your database? Just open it as a text file and search. For example - small_DCP3005yw41tU7e.jpg . however, I don't actually think they are in your FTP space looking at your site again. Right click on a missing thumbnail gives a 404 error.

My bad guys. sorry for the delay in my response.

uuuufff! What a rush! Having my site offline for this long...an experience i dont want to repeat!

I had done a fresh install and for some reason the photos where not being pulled from the photos directory.

    Anyways.

I had to roll back my server to yesterday to get the site online again. I think I had updated the script before the directory backup. My dashboard is showing version 4.1.8 so im guessing all is ok.

I lost about 30 new ads from today. but oooh well!

Just dont want to get the same cookie errors I was getting. I spoke with a client today. She is using a very old version of IE. She wasnt able to give the version. She says she was having problems with the page as well. whenever she was posting an ad and tried to get to step 3 (image uploading) the script would get here to an empty page showing only "featured ads".

This is when i decided to rollback everything.

Please let me know what info would you need in order to identify this bug.

    Thanks!

My guess would be client side browser settings or client firewall/antivirus settings.

Not supported by your template. I.E 6 and below. Support is only given to the last two major releases of a browser (I.E. Firefox, Safari). It would make the product way too expensive to support all browsers and all versions. It would also make it a nightmare for customers to make changes to their designs.

And your issue is: The thumbs do not exist in the FTP space. Pretty sure about that as I can pull the url for the image but it is empty - 404 error

Thanks Larry. I think so too.

    David,

The issue started before I did the the restore and after the fresh install of the 4.1.8 script. Not a single photo where being displayed before the restore except for the "No Image Available".

The photos are not in the FTP after i did the restore. I was able to save my page thanks to it.

Remember, I restored the photos directory therefore loosing all photos uploaded yesterday. These are the ones not available in the FTP.
