What version of 68 Classifieds are you running?
    V 4.2.0 Designer

    What template are you using?
    Sigma

Please describe in detail the issue you are having:
    Hi

I just transfered my hosting and domain name both over to Hostgator, I am now noticing that when I use the newsletter module to send group emails, despite the content I include in html format, no css or html formatting translates through to the emails. Not even web links. The emails are sending ok, just the content is losing all its formatting.

Any ideas? or is there something that I should have considered or changed in the settings when changing host provider.

Added Note: Further to this, I have just noticed that if the html code in my email has a " or ', it automatically adds a \ symbol. And strangely enough, I noticed exactly the same on a forum this week.

    Cheers
    Steve

Id start by comparing the phpinfo() output from your previous host to your new host to see what php configuration differences there are between the two.

Thanks Larry. I will look intio that. Being that I am with Hostgator and I know plenty use this script on their servers, I am surprised there is an issue.

Check and be sure you have magic quotes off on your new server, also verify that you have registered globals off as well, I believe these are sometimes defaulted to on with some hostgator installations.
