Is there a way to create a listing package where a user pays X amount of dollars to list multiple ads during a certain time period. Say I charged $10/ month to list 5 ads at a time. and the user would be able to edit those 5 ads throughout the month, so if they sold something, they could put a new item in its place. I just think that it's going to be a pain, from the customer's point of view, if I charge per ad. Any ideas? Thanks!
This is not a feature available in the feature set for 68 Classifieds. This is one of those "catch 22's" with the versatility that you have with the Ad Listing Packages from price, duration, category, etc., etc.... It makes it extremely difficult to enable that type of functionality for $xxx you can have this many ads a month, except for this category, because those ads cost a lot more and... Oh yeah, and this category, because those ads run for 6 months or a year, etc., etc., etc... In addition, there is no "subscription", so then how do you charge them a monthly fee? With that said, there is a module called "memberships" that is available from techconnx that can do that and more, however it is an investment in both money and time/resources to understand how it works, planning out your setup for the 68 classifieds site as well as setting up the module. This is due to the complexities as I just described previously and more.
