Why would you need to when you can view a normal site on the iphone? It is just a question of template design.

    why

    I find it loads slowly
Also I used to use ebay with the safari browser and now find the ebay app much easier to use
    That is why I suppose

Thats true but to be honest most 68C users are not capable of making a mobil friendly template from the ground up. Whereas iphone apps are designed with the limited capabilities of the iphone screen size in mind.

The question I have is what is the developers incentive to make an iphone app? As a developer it costs money to get apps on the store, are users going to buy a iphone app to make accessing 68C sites easier? Also, the iphone 68C app wouldnt be specific to a certain 68C site, it would be a generic template to access all 68C sites.

Can you link to it, I couldn't find it. Is your app customizable with your website?

Just for the fun of it just tried out one of my property sites using the TC platform which is modest on images. No problem on an iphone or a BB in terms of viewing or navigating. I am in a countryside area and the bandwidth is not so great either. Took less than 4-5 seconds to load an average page on this site Maison à Vendre which is hosted in the U.S and I am in a forest in South West France.

Admittedly, the site is stripped of much of the testing overhead in the templates (all the tests I never use are taken out like if 'display price' etc) but even so, not bad. Likewise, about the same speed on our TC demonstration site. I suppose it comes down to expectations.

Interested to get more figures if anyone will try for me.
