I just bought the 68 Classifieds Designer version. Sadly i found that my host doesnt support ioncube. I wrote them a mail to install it if its allowed. My main question is how can i refund my money if they will not support it? As i see you guys garantie a 14 days payback. Thank you, AndrĂ¡s
You would need to open a support ticket, from the link above that says, "Support". My question is, why would you stay with a web host that doesn't support ioncube? The majority of commercial software scripts require ioncube and very few web hosts don't already have it installed. It would make me wonder what else they don't support and what versions of the things that do support are?
Just move web hosting to somebody else. You will miss out on a great script because of a poor hosting company.
Thank you for your fast reply. I will keep push my host support team. (also have a good contact with the company boss). As i see ioncube is free (correct me if im wrong), so i dont see any concerne why its not yet installed by them. About the ticket part, you mean: Support-> Submit a ticket? Thank you.
Update: Tried the older version too: 4.0.9: Got this error in the last step during installation: Warning: realpath() [function.realpath]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. Smog There are many many ISP hosts who support practically everything current in the modern user marketplace -- especially ioncube. Even so, its install on a server is a no-brainer for any competant server admin. Otherwise you may wish to check out inmotionhosting.com which I use, but there are many hosts who also have a million features. And all are quite competitive. While no one here is putting down your Host (or your contact with its owner), the 68 Classifieds scripts is the best on the marketplace -- and with superior template construction from templatecodes and special custom jobs from Lhotch and Techconnix and Maffo -- you are getting about $20 grand worth of programming for a mere fraction of the cost. However Ioncube is at the heart or core of the system. While there are a few lesser-quality classified ad programs out there, nothing beats 68C and the family of support people always here to help out. I would recommend doing more research before jumping the gun. What kind of business are you looking to do anyway? BarryG
