Hello everybody, As advertised on the site, the source code is unencrypted for modification. Does this include the login (frontend and admin), register and session files? I am trying to complete a job my employer has given me which requires integrating the classifieds system with the directory's user system. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I appreciate any and all responses. -Justin
The administration bootstrap and another file that deals with licensing are encrypted. We have a module system and plugins that can change just about anything regardless of those files, so it is highly unlikely you would ever need its source. Everything else is unencrypted so you should be able to make changes without issue.
Hey John, I appreciate your answer, but it's a little obscure. I'm prepared to make a purchase today, but I need to integrate the login with the usersystem used by the directory software (phpMyDirectory). I need users to be able to use their accounts on the phpMyDirectory website to login to the 68 classifieds software. I would be disabling registration on the 68 classifieds site and redirecting them to the registration page of the phpMyDirectory website. Am I going to have an issue doing this or is there a workaround using the module system and plugins? The only reason stopping me from using a competitor to 68 classifieds is the need of authorize.net as a payment gateway, but I can add that in if this software isn't going to provide the solution I need.
Sorry for not being exactly clear, I'll take another stab at it. It entirely depends on your skills with PHP. 68 Classifieds encoded files would not be a problem in specific regards to integrating users/registration/login/etc with another system. We previously sold modules that shared users with a couple of forum systems. It can be done with 68 Classifieds with/without modules, depending on how pristine you want to keep your installation of 68 Classifieds.
