Oh man - this is EXACTLY what we've been asking for!!!!! The only improvement might be to go one step further and develop it into a WP widget. You should have barked louder about this one! How much? I can't find it on the TC site.
It is included in our whole pack as standard - 8 templates + all the modules you see here on the link below. Our modules can be broken out and used on other templates given a little skill in html/css. Many of our customers do that. Some will port over without any need to change anything (e.g the external listings modules for example). We prefer to be straightforward about it and say we will help but we cannot officially support customers who do wish to use them in complete independence of the templates. We also strongly advise that customers are using version 4.1.6 or above for 68 classifieds. Problems have surfaced using the latest of our system with earlier versions and we cannot be sure to have caught all the issues. The base code for generating the listings resides in classifieds system anyway.
