Just wanted to say that I had signed up for hosting with Dreamhost.com and it was horribly slow when trying to do most anything with my 68 Classifieds site. It was a little scary but I switched everything over to hostgator and could not be happier with the performance. Wanted to put this on the forum so someone who is trying to decide if Dreamhost would work well will hopefully now decide to go somewhere else for hosting. It was SO SLOW it drove me nuts. Their tech support had me turn off fast cgi, but that had a negligible difference on performance. Also had lots of trouble with IonCube when starting out with Dreamhost. Right out of the gate hostgator has impressed me and I didn't have to go tinkering with options I know little about.
