If you are getting that error, that means the one of the settings you input for connecting to your mySQL server is incorrect. Username, password, path to server.
Yeah you are right .. It was an error with the server name: I was using localhost but then my hosting company provided me the correct server name. But now I have an error by accessing www.mysite.com/administration/login.php it gives me a site error.
