Create listing/Place an Ad issue

Registered users are unable to complete the place an ad process. After information is entered into the 'Create Listing' fields and the 'Save' button is clicked the ' processing' icon appears next to a green tick. When you try to upload photos the message 'Please complete listing and save' appears.

If you go to modify and ad, the incomplete ad will appear in the user profile. When I login to the admin panel and incomplete order will appear.

I have tested this using the default template and the same problem occurs.

    Your help is appreciated.

Two things. Have you configured your advertising packages and payment methods? Have you configured the quick checkout module following the instructions? Please look at the instructions.

Looking at your site you have not done these things. Two of your packages for a start are set with 0 days on expiration. I have set your quick checkout module for you as you had not set it to look at paypal which is your preferred gateway. All that being said, you still seem to have the issue.

I went back to the default way of posting adverts without the quick check out module and you have problems. It now appears your original installation of the 68C code has errors coming up.

Rather than posting here. Please send us a support ticket so we can keep a record.

I have reinstalled for you but there appears to be an issue in the 68 Classifieds core software. Here is the error. You need to report this to 68 Classifieds. It may be host related. I cannot modify or look at this file because it is encrypted. I cannot see anything obviously wrong in your admin control panel using australian dollars either.

Deprecated: Function ereg_replace() is deprecated in /home/legallea/public_html/includes/classes/kernel/Format.php on line 99

I still get this error even if I use an unencrypted version of the file.

Thank you for your time. I will submit a ticket and report the issue.

According to John our developer guru - you are running php 5.3 so you need to turn off error reporting for the depreciated tag in init.php. I think you just need to add E_DEPRECQTED
