Coder required. Paid offer.

  1. michael Just get on with it!

I'm using a modified version of the 3 column template, see it at MKClassifieds Click through the 'Partner Sites' listed in the right column to see the template installed with different color themes.

I am very happy with the look I've produced.

However, my coding skills are basic at best and I don't want to start marketing or promoting the business with an unstable setup (for example, try registering at http://www.mkmotoring.co.uk/). Running the site through the W3C Markup Validation Service produces a whole bunch of errors for 'attributes [that] exist but can not be used for this element' as well as warnings and other potential issues.

So here's my serious offer. Take my template, tidy up the code and clearly comment each section of the layout.tpl and style.css files. If the template installs with no alterations from me (other than simple color changes) on my v4.19 sites with no W3C warnings and very few minor errors I'll pay $100. If it validates 100% I'll pay $150.

I've learned an awful lot but am itching to get started on the business rather than endlessly fiddling with code. Please correspond with me at [email protected]

    Many thanks,

    Michael

I think looking for xhtml strict is pushing it too far or you are going to lose some precious flexibility. XHTML transitional is more realistic for real world web sites.
