Do I have to have categories showing on the primary page? We are not selling multiple products we are showing our ACK dogs, so we won't need categories. Is it possible to display your software properly without categories?

Any page can be modified, so yes, you can NOT have the categories show on the primary page or any page (You would probably also want to delete the "Browse" link too then). I don't know what you mean by, "ACK dogs" or why you won't need categories, but you do have to have at least one category, because in order to make a listing (on the front end anyway), you have to select an "Ad Package" and to create an Ad Package, it has to be assigned to a category(ies). So it would all still be just fine, delete showing the categories, delete the "browse" link(s) and just create your one category that everything goes in.

That is asking for trouble! DO NOT DO THAT!!! This advice doesn't even answer the poster's question!

Please do not offer advice that sets id #'s, etc, when you do not understand all of the php and database functions and how they work together and what the repercussions are for doing so! You can seriously screw someone up, when you don't have all of the information and/or know all of the facts.

  6. No problems I can understand. I edited my post to not include it.

I did include productid=1 and this would no doubt need to change as well.
