I am sure you could get the slider to go on continuous! In this case we wanted the slider to go back to the beginning after it reaches the end of the featured items. and thank you for your comments about the look of the site. It has already had people adding items etc, just need to sort out a few things like the paypal problem and some advertising things.
Is there any chance that someone has a working carousel module with the latest verison of the script that works for featured ads?

No it is not a modification we can do. We stopped selling ours pecifc carousel module for various reasons many months back.
