I am using the Sigma template - no tinkering done with it!! 68 classifieds version 4.2.4 In the Search from the top navigation and from quick search I have the word State, and in the drop down box it brings up the US states as well as the UK counties. I want it to say County instead of state, and just give the UK counties but cannot find where its getting the US states from! The database only has the UK counties so its not from there, I have cleared templates_c and the cache is clear. I have run a search for Alabama on the laptop and its only coming up in my old database backups so am now a bit stuck. For the word State, I have been through the language file 3 times and am pretty sure I have got all instances of it in there. Any ideas where I need to look please?
Hi Calaf6- If you've scoured the language file looking for an instance of 'State' and you're sure it's not there, my first thought is that 'State' may be written directly in the search page's template file. Have you looked there?
Oh wait - I also see that you have actual states in the select menu! Oops! Please login to administration. Click "Settings >> Settings >> Edit States" to manage what appears in that select menu. Hope this helps.
Thanks, I have just been to "Settings >> Settings >> Edit States" and its only UK ones in there, I did have a look at the search.tpl file and ran away after a quick look at it will have another try in the morning!!
Solved the problem with the word State - was Core not overwriting the file when I saved it so thats sorted!
