Tried on my HTC Desire via Vodafone in the UK - rural area, signal OK but probably not at city speeds. Quite slow to load, it's the images that take all the time. When I went to a properties details page 90 seconds had passed and only 2 of the 8 images had arrived. I compared it to our site - Dunsters Equine - an advert which had 4 images - Passier dressage saddle which was loading fully in around 40 seconds. Looking via the fixed broadband - 2Mb connection, the images take a few seconds to download. The small images are relatively large in file size - 150kb for some of them x 8 = 1.2Mb which is quite a lot for a 3G connection to do speedily. Is there a way you can optimise them? Many thanks. Yerr I think I know where the problems is. I am scaling the photos and not using the pre-scaled thumbs. Thankyou for that. Its actually a bug which is self-induced.
