I have been in discussion with Alan Hartless over at JFusion on the possibility of developing a Joomla plugin for 68C. This would provide basic user integration and a single login. I have the more expensive option of purchasing sole owner and distributor rights of the plugin (as does anyone else) but this is not a route I favour. I'm in no position to provide support for end users and do not want that responsibility. So, the other choice is to have the plugin released under a GPL license. This would still allow me to sell it but, importantly, JFusion would also be able to sell and support it at their site. The cost of development is several hundred dollars. If you like the idea of a 68C/Joomla plugin and are willing to take on a part of the development costs then please get in touch via Private Messaging for more specific details. Thanks for your consideration, Michael
Hi Bronx' I don't think this will happen, the cost is high and the functionality would be limited in any case (unless one is prepared to pay even more for it). For clarity, here is the relevant section of an email I recieved from Mr Hartless at jFusion.org; "I'm afraid that there is currently not a JFusion plugin for that software (68C). However, one can be developed if you wish to sponsor it. A GPL JFusion plugin generally costs between $500 and $750 USD depending on the complexity of the software to be integrated. This covers basic user synchronization and dual login support. It would cost more if you wanted support for our various Joomla modules and plugins such as the activity module, who's online module, search plugin, and system plugin."
