Default Check advert enquiries

Hi,

Is there a way of checking when advertisers are contacted by email through the website regarding their adverts?

I think it would be a nice measure as to the success of the website. If it's a reasonable figure it can then be used in marketing to encourage other advertisers to place adverts.

Thanks

I am tempted to say from a marketing point of view, that you may simply choose to be liberal with the actualii. This goes for a nice tagline on the top of your site saying how many users are currently online.

I don't really mean the number of users online. If I can tell possible advertisers that 70% of adverts are contacted by buyers, it would be very encouraging for them. However if only 10% are contacted I wouldn't use this in a marketing campaign. It's just a way of enticing new advertisers.

I am going from memory here but there is a "repliedcount" row in the listings table that is supposed to be updated each time someone fills out the contact form. So you could probably run some manual db queries to get an average per listings or something along those lines.

Wow, I never even noticed that. That suddenly makes something else I've been working on for a side project much simpler to do. thanks, Eric.

Well I guess I'll have to leave that to the developers. That's a bit beyond my scope.

Thanks

Why would you not use marketing license on what you say? That is often the whole point of marketing - we have thousands of contacts every day. The truth is likely to be less appealing.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is "Marketing License"?

basically put a good spin on what you say even if it is less than accurate. 21 people said they liked it but it is better to say tens of people liked it.
