Running 4.1.8 and I am new to 68C sorry.......

Is there a way to avoid the check out completley when users post free ads?

Nope.

You need to be careful, especially with fre ads, the easier you make plaing a free ad, the easier it is for spammers to script placing as on your ste and before you know it you have 50,000 spoam ads one morning when you wake up.

I know I did think of that.
I will have visiters to the site with very limited computer experience, and also many in rural areas that still use dial up.
So I have to make things as easy as possible, yet still offer upgrades.
