Default Checkbox Alignment & Extra Fields Sorting

I have some formatting things that have been driving me crazy for hours. On the search page my check boxes don't hold the same alignment as on the create listing page (usercheckout.php?step=3). On the user checkout page they're all aligned in a column. On the search page the first two options are aligned then the rest appear all the way to the left. I attached an image so you can see what I mean.

On another note, is there a way to sort/order the values in the extra fields drop down and checkboxes? They seem to default alphabetically but I have some options such as "Other" that should appear on the bottom.

Thanks for all your help.

I can confirm there is an issue. It appears to do this not only with the search.tpl that we modify very slightly in our templates but also with the default template version of search.tpl template and the unmolested default template as a whole.

Not sure yet but there looks to be something going on in the css controlling extra fields causing this.

the same misalignment issues is there when a listing is modified in admin. Mostly check-box fields are misaligned and the sort order of the value are messed-up.

Its likely to surface in 3 files on the front-end at least. Worth testing out that theory.

step3.tpl, usermodifylisting.tpl and search.tpl.

We have a had a similar issue with date fields and the position of calendars. This has been fixed for our templates in the next release of our system. The checkbox alignment is being affected by something else in the 68 software as it is also affecting the default template and as you mention in the admin control panel.

I can confirm it's in the admin listings as well. There's also a problem when creating a listing (step 3) in IE8 with compatibility mode turned on. Take a look at the attached image.

Just installed the designer V4.1.8 and am using the default template. I'm seeing the same alignment issue on the search page for check boxes. I have seven numbered check box items, the first two are aligned and the remaining five are to the far left.

They're also out of order - 2, 7, 5, 1, 3, 4, 6.

This has been notified to 68 classifieds in a bug report.

I thought the checkbox sorting and alignment issue was fixed with 4.1.9 but it doesn't look like it was so I submitted another bug for it. I had a programmer fix it and posted the solution in the bug tracker. Hope it helps.
