Default Autoszie Web Page to Fit Browser

Hello,

I would like to modify the nustyle template to fit the whole width of the customers browser. Currenty set up to display a static size of 960px. Have tried changing to 100% but tables break up when browser window is resized.

Can any one help with what coding changes are required.

Thanks

Mitch

I think you will need to change the tables in the default css and template files where these tables are being called. It is the same issue if you are using the default template. It is not designed that way.

Why? I don't use the NuStyle template but I've seen the demo and it's very impressive. Why mess with it? Why take something apart and try to reassemble it when it's clearly a professional product as it is? How would that affect any official support from the template supplier you may require in future?

I put these blunt questions to you as someone who wasted too much time and effort going down the same road. If it ain't what your good at let the pro's handle it.

Wishing you well . .

In frankness I can only agree with Michael and wish people refrained from trying to redesign the fundamental structure of a template as it makes support often impossible within what are acceptable modifications to make. The reality is that designing and maintaining a template throughout versions and across browsers is a non-trivial task.

Wanting to change the nustyle template is no reflection on its quality, more a need to create a website that looks a bit more unique to others ... thanks anyway.

It can be done but you will need a good grasp of css to achieve your goal. You will need to modify not only the nustyle css style sheet but the default template css style sheet as well (we default to this quite often).
