I believe this is what you are referring to. Around line 65:
Code:
#sidebar h1 {
	margin-top: 10px;
	padding: 5px 0 5px 10px;
	font: bold 1.1em Verdana, 'Trebuchet MS', Sans-serif;
	color: #555;
	background: #EEF0F1 url(../images/headerbg.gif) repeat-x left bottom;
	border: 1px solid #EFF0F1;
}

Thanks Mike for replying. I tried changing the background color (in the above code), but nothing changes. Any other ideas?
Thx

You would want to edit this section:
background: #EEF0F1

Something like:
background: #000000

Which would be black.

Hi,
Sorry to sound redundant, but I did that initially as Mike suggested, and nothing changed. I even tried to remove the image attached to it, and everything stays exactly the same.

I don't know what to tell you, because that is what creates the look of the side menu header. It has a background color and an image. I've changed both on my templates for sale without issue.

Did you try deleting your templates_c cache? Your browser cache?

Thanks Mike for your help. When I made other changes in that area I didn't have to clear my cache, but I'll give it a try. Now what is a "Templates_c cache"?
