Iron Man is on a distinguished road
Default Can I use 68 classified to do this....?

Hi,

I am new to the classifieds and I would like to know how customisable it is.
I have designed how I would like my site to look, please could you let me know if this is possible and how difficult it would be. I am quite familiar with html and css and have a little experiance with php from an oscommerce project I have undertaken.
Refering to the image: This is how I would like my homepage to look. I want the categories on the side and only featured listings, as the main content. The links at the top where search is highlighted, is how I would like it to look when you are actually viewing that page. i.e. when you are on the search page it will be dark green, etc. There will be a slight rollover effect also. I have also moved the login to the front page. Where I have the image of the grass this will be a flash movie.
Please let me know how easy/difficult this would be.

Your help is very much appreciated.

Regards,

Iron Man.

68C uses smarty templates so all of the variable data (ie ads, categories etc) are pulled from the database by the underlysing scripts and passed to the template. These variables are represented at the template level by a smarty variable.

If you are familiar with html/css then you should be able to alter your layout just fine. There are a couple pdf tutorials in the forums here (as stickies) that talk about a total template redesign in quite a bit of detail.

Great Film Iron Man, best cinematic experience since the 1st matrix! If your website is as good your film, you'll do very well!
