Default Image Upload in FireFox

Doesn't seem to be working. Is there a fix for this? It doesn't crash my whole page, it's just blank where it's supposed to be and there's no alternative. Just a useless blank page.

Your likely not going to get any help to a post worded like yours. Please take the time to list your exact 68C version, the EXACT version of firefox and your OS details as well. Obviously there are plenty of people using firefox without issues so details such as those above would go a long way in helping people identify the problem.

Default More Details

When you develop something for the web you should take care to make in work on a variety of operating systems and browsers. That's just plain responsible. However, I am using developer version 4.2.3. Firefox 3.6.18. Windows 7. A pretty standard setup for a personal computer.

Pretty accusatory post, especially considering that you are the only one that seems to have this issue. The script is written and does work on a variety of operating systems and browsers. There would be many other posts for this issue if it didn't and just as you said, "A pretty standard setup for a personal computer."

Providing details about your issue while asking for help in a community based support forum...
"That's just plain responsible.", as well.

Just food for thought... You get what you give. If you throw mud... expect to get a little dirty yourself. Just my opinion though.

Sorry if you are having a bad day.

I didn't say anything about having a bad day. Although, this issue remains unresolved.

The templatecodes image upload module is designed to work with most browsers including Firefox. I have never heard of a problem with Firefox.

There could also be any number of other issues associated with your hosting environment and in particular 'mod security' settings blocking flash files which you will need to speak to your hosting provider about. If you send a support ticket to the email listed on the TC website with your admin panel login details and your FTP login details I will take a look for you.

You also do not say if the module is working correctly for you in other browsers. This would help to determine if it is a Firefox issue, an installation issue or your hosting environment.

I just saw in another post you are using hostgator. Good but you need to check that the mod security settings for your account are allowing flash files (i.e. your site needs to be white listed). We use hostgator too. I find it difficult to believe it is the browser issue as it has never been reported before but I wait to be proved wrong about that.

Default Contacted Hostgator Re Flash

Thanks Seymour. I've sent a ticket to Hostgator to see about getting flash to work like you said. Hopefully that is all it is. I will let you know.

Let me know if this is it otherwise i suggest you upload the module again to make sure you do not have file corruption.

Default All Is Well Again

I was unable to reproduce the problem I was having before. The module is working great and my fingers feel much better with less clicking as I upload multiple images at once. Thanks for your help, Seymour.
