Code starting the orders_browse.tpl table

Hello there,

In orders_browse.tpl I don't understand the code between the first <tr> and </tr> starting with
<th scope="col"><a href="userorders.php?{$querystring_oID}">{$smarty.cons t.LANG_ORDER_ID} {if $sqlsort=="oID"}<img src="images/sort{$oppositesort}.gif" border="0" alt="Sort" />{/if}</a></th> and so on.

I see in the differents <th></th> cells a link code as above but nothing is showing up in the template and I don't understand either the image code as no image is showing up either in the template.

Thats not "code" in my book, its just plain html with smarty variables in it. That being saideverything within curly braces is a smarty variable, it represents some bit of data stored elsewhere and that bit of data is displayed in its place.

Yes, I have supposed so as well but I would like to understand the use of the <a> and <img>.

The a tag does sorting and the img tag is the arrow either up or down..
