What version of 68 Classifieds are you running?
Example: V4.1.8 Developer

Hi,
I want to use email addresses as the username, it didn't like the @ symbol in the username.
So i removed

Code:

$validate->alphaCheck($_POST['username'], LANG_USER_DESIRED_USERNAME." ". LANG_ALPHA);

Out of userjoin.php and it now works and seems to work fine.

Is there going to be any issues with this?

I am guessing the db will be fine with the @ symbol as it stores the email addresses fine.

Yes that would remove any validation checks on the field. Although I am not sure if this would cause any other ramifications later.
