User View Listing

Can anyone tell me the smarty tag needed for a user to preview ( not modify) their listing. I am adding this link to the userindex.tpl file so anytime they are logged in, they can see their listing. Thanks in advance!

Each listing is unique so you cant just toss in some smarty tag to view listings, you need to query the database and pull up the ads as well as more queries to get all the extra fields etc.

Just to confirm you just want a list of all their listings with a link to it?

I think he means this Eric but could be wrong. That the listing titles are linked in the table of all his listings.

Open userbrowselistings.tpl in your template folder called user:


Replace

<td class="{cycle values="row1,row2" advance=false}">{$entry.title}</td>


with this

<td class="{cycle values="row1,row2" advance=false}"><a href={$smarty.const.URL}/viewlisting.php?view={$entry.id} target="_blank">{$entry.title}</a></td>


The title of the listing will then be hyperlinked. If you actually mean in the my account page (userindex) then that is different. Not sure if the variables are all available to that template. You basically need the equivalent of a more ads from seller link (normally you get that on viewlisting.tpl).
