http 500 error

hi there

recently i went to a local designing company and they have done a template for me
and it works perfectly with V4.1.3

but when i installed V4.1.5 on another folder and copied the template folder
i get HTTP 500 error
and when i put the default template the script is working

i dont know where's the problem
any idea?

How about a link to your site. When you say template what do you mean. Do you mean the layout or do you mean inner template files etc.

That directory has no layout.tpl file in it.

Nick, he said that his default template works fine. I was referring to custom template directory in the link as quoted in my post.
