I have installed a new template (copied from purple and some changes made) and I want it to appear as an Available Theme in the admin/template settings. The template is listed in the template editor but not in settings.

I think there must be a way to add a thumbnail of this template to the Available Themes and then use the proper code for allowing me to change to that template.

How do I do this?

(FYI I have the new template online and working - I just want to be able to change templates more easily and have all of them showing as Available Themes)

in the template folder is a config.php file you need to edit and make sure your new template has unique settings.

WOW! So easy. Thank you much! But can you tell me where to put a thumnail of the new template? Now the purple template thumbnail is there even though it has the new template name and description. - Just a minor thing for me to tweak...

The image comes from preview.png

So replace this image in your template folder and then it will display.
