Hello.

I have a problem with the search function and didn't find a fitting solution.

What I've done:
I created a new extra field with two options, "private" and "commercial". It is a drop down box and it is searchable. I also marked the categorys which use this field. When I create a new listing, the drop down box works corrctly. I can choose one of those options.

But there is a problem with the search function. In the search funktion I have to choose "commercial" or "private". But I can not choose something like "Search All" as it is done for "Country" or "State".

How can I add the option "Search All" to this extra field drop down?

I own the developer edition.

That is actually a bug and will be fixed in the next release. I had a ticket about this same issue last week.

Yep v4.1.3 will fix this.
