when a user creates and account the system sends 2 e-mail. Since we are using the php mail function (sendmail) rather than SMTP there is the possibility that mail could end up in the users spam (that's where google's gmail sent it when we ran the tests). I have not been able to locate which template and where the las page ("mail sent") is in the signup so I can add a line to "please check your spam box if you are using AOL and gmail or if you haven't received a mail from us with 5 minutes."

While I know I can modify the system to use SMTP, my hope was to make sure that this worked without resorting to making my qmail process work even harder. :-) So any pointers on which template to use and what to change would be appreciated.

In much the same way I noticed that the <body> tag is used. I want to add a onload to it so that it will run an ajax routine at the beginning of the page load to load up a new <div> I'm adding with content from another site (an ad management component that feeds the content to the site based on the URI) Is there any problems that I should be aware of before making the change to the body tag?

The emails are stored in templates/default/emails/ text or html depending on your settings. You can alter these any way you wish.

I don't want to modify the e-mail. When the user completes registration and the e-mail is sent there is text on the screen to notify them that the e-mail has been sent. I want to modify THAT text. I just can't seem to locate that piece of code in either the php or templates.

That should be in language/english.php.

No none that I can think of. Just be sure and test it.
