Hi,
I want for each Main category 5 subcategories to appear on the homepage + a link saying more... How can I do this?

Open home.tpl and find this:


Change it to:
{$data[td].subcats}

I dont remember how to do it off the top of my head, it used to do this automatically but it really killed the sites performance because of all the extra database queries when sites got busy. SO keep in mind that while it may sound like a good idea if your site gets busy you will find your performance with suffer greatly.

If we modify this: {$data[td].subcats}, it's only displaying 3 subcategories.
Is there a way to display all the subcategories and to add <br> between them ?

To display more categories go to yoursite/includes/classes/kernel/Categories.php and change the limit to your requirements . . .
