Hello Everyone.

I have a site where people list autos and caravans.

However, a dealer may get on there and list a price as POA (Price on Appoinment) meaning that there are many options on site that you can add/subtract, which affects the price.

When the dealers lists it as POA in the required price box, it price defaults to $0.00

Any suggestions?

In the viewlisting use
{$price|format_money|replace:'$0.00':'P.O.A'}
then in showlistings use
{$entry.price|format_money|replace:'$0.00':'P.O.A' }

hello
but what i want is to hide the form and text price in some section/categories
is it possible?
i know but using this method it will show price then $0.00
but i want to hide both in some section
plz help

What you will have to do is edit you viewlisting.tpl template file.

You will need to surround the html section that displays they price field with smarty logic ( Smarty ) to evaluate the category the ad is in and if it is a category where you dont want the price displayed then dont process the section of HTML.

Hello,

Im trying to use this code with a EURO' '�' symbol and its not working

In the viewlisting use
{$price|format_money|replace:'�0.00':'P.O.A'}
then in showlistings use
{$entry.price|format_money|replace:'�0.00':'P.O.A' }

Any help appreciated

When viewing an ad does it display like �0.00 or like this �0 ?

Hello,

If i use the code without the � symbol it changes the ending of every lisitng with 0.00 to P.O.A, but with the � symbol it makes no difference.. cant work it out..

change the $ to eruo.
