Setup Mysql error

Hello,
I have looked around the forum, and it seems nobody has had this problem before,
I'm just installing v4 on my server and during the last step I get this error

My PHP Version = 4.4.9
My Mysql information
Client API version 5.0.32
MYSQL_MODULE_TYPE external

Hi,

Try this. Open setup/config.php and find this line:

define("DB_SET_CHARSET", "YES");

Change to:

define("DB_SET_CHARSET", "NO");

Then run the setup again and see if it works.
