Adding Phone: to contact form

How do i add Phone: to the contact form at the botttom of viewlisting?

functionally, I consider this feature does not require a specific field.

If somebody wants to answer a listing, he can naturally give his phone in the body of the text field.

Of course, may be you want this field mandatory ...

... but through my own experience (4 years) in classifieds, I won't put any mandatory field in a contact form which may frighten potential buyers wanting a simple first contact.

Hi,
This is for a truck and machinery classifieds site.
I am the son of a truck dealer, i am the one that answers all of the emails and most of them are time wasters. I figure that if they dont want to put their phone number in there they are not serious.

You would need to manually add a form fild to the template and then alter the php script to combine the new phone field with the message body field. So, you would need the developers edition to do it.
