I just got up and rolling with Designer v4 and want to change the automated linking between my SMTP based HTML emails and the site title.

I don't want my entire site title coming through and populating the "from" field of the emails nor after the "Best Regards" line at the bottom of the email.

I use my site title for SEO optimization and it is total overkill to be in the emails that are generated!

In the body of the email itself the site title comes through as a heading and is "okay" for now, however I think this might end up being overkill as well.

Please let me know what I can do to customize or change this. Thanks.

Just edit where it says $sitetitle in mail_header.tpl and mail_footer.tpl file to whatever you want. It should be o.k. Then each individual type of email should you desire to change it there as well.

How can you change the from value in the header info so it doesn't pull the site title either?
