Question New Users Automatically Banned

Hello,

All new users on our site are automatically being set to banned and I can't figure out why this is? I looked through the admin settings and couldn't find anything that would be causing this. Does anyone know why this is happening? We were suspecting the Maffo Locations mod (having to approve new towns), but this doesn't see to be it either. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jonah

That is very odd and something I haven't had any reports on. Have you edited your usergroups or anything?

No. I figured it out. It was the Civ Scam Filter that did not have "The United States of America" country setup as an allowable country. Once I entered it in, then users were not automatically banned because of it not being in the list.

Sorry for the trouble...

If your intent is to whitelist your US visitors, the appropriate entry would be "United States", not "The United States of America" - you may have already figured this out but I just wanted to clear that up so no one else is confused...

hmmm, "United State of America" is actually what we are using in the country drop down for registration. So isn't this what we need to whitelist in the module?
