Contact Owner/Seller if Guest

Currently working with v4.0.1 Hosted, default template...

I have a request to allow guests (unregistered users or users awaiting email) to contact the owner/seller. I checked in the Admin panel and "Contact Owner" is allowed for both guests and users awaiting email, yet it still takes guests to a login screen when the link to "contact owner" is clicked through the viewlisting file.

Has this been corrected in later versions? If so, I will advise the site-owner to upgrade. If not, has anyone come across a solution to this issue?

The link to "Contact the Owner" in the viewlisting.tpl file has the following code:

P.S. If an upgrade to the newest version is required, should there be any worry about template files or existing listings being overwritten/deleted while running through the setup?

Well that is a tricky situation. If you turn the private message system off then they should be able to contact the owner through the email form. In order to use the private message system they must be registered.
