Does Maffo's Location mod work with the US zip code module from 68 classifieds?

Please find below a conversation I had with Maffo regarding his Location Mod and the 68 classified US zip code mod. I think it might be helpful to others:

Hi there,

The Location Mod and the Search Plugin are two seperate things.

The location mod organises your users locations so there are no duplicates, different spellings for the same place etc etc. It also eases registration for users on your website with a nice Ajax drilldown from country through to the users town or city.

The Search Plugin allows you to have a search query on any page(s) that you wish and store the search query. This means your user can make a search, then browse listings and all the time the search plugin is on view with the search query active.

Where the Search Plugin and Location Mod meet is that you can localise searches. Using a similar ajax drilldown of countries->states->towns the user can search as wide a scale as he or she wants.

I havent tampered with the zipmod code and it remains in the search but I havent tested it. I imagine that it will work fine but the user will need to decide whether to use the zip code or the drilldown for localising ads.
