Default Photo Slideshow

Hi Guys,
Is there a way to put a slideshow in ads? My client has created a package that allows for slideshows and I am not sure how to do this. I thought I could make the slideshow and insert it into each ad, but that sees time consuming and I have no idea where to start!!! Can anyone tell me what I need to do? It will only be for a certain package too, not all ads.
Thanks in advance,
Jill B

Impossible to say without seeing the slideshow code.

For starters, define "slideshow" and how you see it working within your ads.

Next, we would need to see the code to offer advice on how to instert it into a template.

Then, basically what would have to happen, assuming the details above were ironed out, is that the viewlisting template would have to check the ad package and if its the one that allows a slide show, use the slideshow code, and if not just display the default ad code.

Thanks Larry,

I have no code. I don't have a slideshow set up yet. But would like it to view as a standard slideshow. Up to 10 photos. I saw another thread on Lightbox and I am not sure if that is what I need or not. I will go to the site and check it out. Just a simple slideshow to click through the photos I guess with arrows.

Does that make any sense to you?

Thanks,
Jill B

Ahh, ok. I thought your client had a slideshow code in mind already.

Looking at the code there doesnt appear to be any order info passed to the viewlisting template.

So what would need to be done is you would actually have to modify the underlying script to get the package info, pass it to the template and then use smarty logic in the template to display regular image pop ups or slideshow popups.

Can you do something like that? And how much do you charge?

Thanks,
