Set to confirm new posters by email - not working

Hi,

I'm setting up my new Classified website and on the settings page I've checked the box to 'Require Email Validation'. I've just posted a test advert and it added it without sending an email for validation purposes.

Any ideas why this hasn't worked as expected?

That requires email validation is used to make them verify their email before they become a registered user. If they are already registered then it has no effect.

Sorry I think it was probably because I was already logged in as the administrator - and that's why it didn't send a validation email. I'll make sure I'm logged out the next time I test.
