Default two category urls pointing to identical content

I notice that there was a problem in 3.1 that SKGold brought up but no solution as I know of for 4.01 with the SEO module deployed. Basically, I cannot see how to avoid the problem of two URLs arriving for a category with the same content. Better by example

http://www.french-property-sale.eu/c...aquitaine.html
http://www.""/categories/property-aquitaine/page/1.html

This is repeated across all 2nd level categories where there is pagination 1,2,3 etc.

Solved it for toplistings (new, featured etc) but that works differently as the input url to start the process can be easily set in layout.tpl.

Any ideas? I have the designer version so I cannot get into category.php and make changes there.

You should be able to open the seo mod user file and add a new line at the very bottom of the before and after array.

Something like:
"'(?<!/)categories/([a-zA-Z0-9_-]*)/page/1.html'",

then in the after:
"categories/\\1.html",

Excellent - You have solved my problem. Easy as that. I am now done and ready to go to market. I am also ready to plan my next classifieds site for later this month.
