phpbb user share mod question

I would like to add a forum to my classifieds site. Is the User Share mod compatible with Verison 4 and if not can I still install phpbb and will it work? I am a little confused on how this mod works...does it share the database? If I need another database to run phpbb how much will that cost me - I have the hosted version which only comes with one database.

Hi, Im not sure whether v4 has that particular mod yet. I had somebody else private message me about this. This is what I replied

With phpBB, what I can get it do is:

send all users who try to register for your phpbb to the classifieds registration.

When a user modifies email or password in 68 it will modify the account in phpbb and vice versa.

When admin creates or modifies an account in the classifieds, it will create/modify a user in the phpbb.

When you delete a user in the 68 admin, it deletes from the forum.

Unfortunatly I cant do much about the logging in process, they will have to be logged in from both programs. (maybe i could get to work if the user logs in on the phpbb, i could log them into the 68classifieds) untried.

I havent actually done this for a 68 classifieds site, but for another site.
