Install. errors

Hi, Guys,,

When I'm installing v4.rc8 I get the following:

Access denied for user 'apache'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
Access denied for user 'apache'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

All the way down....What could be the problem?
I've never had this problem with the other versions....

That error is coming from mysql. Can you double check you have the database connections values correct?

Hi Erik,

When I install the "Ad notification" I get the following syntax error:

WARNING [1024] Query failed: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 SQL: CREATE TABLE class_notification_lookup (nID int(11) NOT NULL, nUserID int(11) NOT NULL default '0', nCat int(11) NOT NULL default '0',
ERROR creating the database.

What went wrong?

Just so I am clear you got the other error message sorted out and now you are receiving this?

Also I don't believe the ad notification module was converted to v4.

Yes Erik,

This is when I installed V4.rc8.

If you say that the ad notification isn't coded for V4 then I didn't ask....
