Hi all,

is it possible to use a php include in the custom category promotional text above each categories listings???

I've tried the usual way, and also the smarty {php} tag with no luck

The way it works is that text is stored in the database. When it is pulled back out for display it is not parsed by php or smarty. So you would need to physically add changes to the category template file.
