Default Category specific RSS feeds.

Is this possible? Can it be included in v4?

external.php is really a 'New Listings' feed of all categories, is there no way to offer a 'Motors' feed, 'Computing' feed, 'Recruitment' feed and so on?

That works great...

but is there a way to get feed of a category and all the sub-categories within it??

The feed results are 0 if I use it on a category with subcategories within it.

i.e. a feed of cars (category 26) would return 0 results:

Cars
Toyota (1)
BMW (4)

Good idea. I will add a new parameter to support this. It will be showchild=Y

Of course the coding will not be available until the next release.

Wondering if there is a way to specify more than one category?

I've tried category=1,2 for instance but it ignores the second cat ID.

No you would have to manually edit the external.php file and add in the ability to search based off the array.
