Default Separate CSS for drop-down menu's?

Is this possible? I'd like to include something like the Style Sheet below to make Main Categories bold.

Code:

/*this stylesheet for dropdown navigation*/
body{background:#a0b8c4;}
body,td,div {font-family:verdana,helvetica,arial,sans-serif;font-size:100%;color:#000;line-height:1.2;margin:0;padding:0;}
big{font-weight:bold;}
big,select{font-size:65%;}
form{margin:0px;}
.text-up{font-size:65%;}

I think this is a good idea. I have made this as a suggestion in the bug tracker here:
http://www.68classifieds.com/forums/....php?issueid=9

This way I do not forget.

You can put CSS inline directly in the element you want to change and it should over ride the site wide CSS.

I added a css class to the parent options in the category list:
Code:
<option class="parent" value="1">Home & Garden</option>
<option value="34">  » Antiques</option>
<option value="27">  » Baby</option>
